Students had the task of persuading a customer in a pumpkin patch to NOT pick them. They learned about persuasive writing, which include thesis statements, reasoning and details, conclusions, and the power of powerful words. Students brought in pumpkins and used the Cricut Maker to design them. They used the green screen for their pumpkin's photo, which they added to their final writing piece, and for a video that they narrated.
