Fifth grade STEM students and sixth grade science students used the engineering process and the 3D printers to create cookie cutters that would make "fancy" cookies for the kindergarten and first grade students. When students had their last prototypes printed, we invited the younger students to come up to use the cutters. As the cookies were baking, the younger students gave their opinions on what they liked and didn't like about the cutter they used. We finished by eating the cookies and drinking a nice carton of milk!
