Business Letters

Students learned how to write a business letter in ELA class. They learned the format of the business letter and practiced by writing one to the school principal who actually responded to every student! We worked with the Chamber of Commerce to get a list of businesses in town. Students then chose a business to write to, asking if they wanted to place an ad in our elementary yearbook. Addressing the envelope was another task that most students learned. Some have written as many as 7 letters!
